Model: Caroline

On a very warm morning I walked the streets to meet lovely Caroline at an old New Orleans cemetery. We walked the paths in the burning sun, their graves are crypts above ground due to the swampy land and tendency to flood. It was eerie and beautiful.

In the afternoon like clockwork the storm rolled in. Heavy drops of warm rain with of lighting dancing across the sky. Dark foreboding clouds are always my favourite backdrop. New Orleans comes to life in the rain, colourful umbrella’s adorning shimmering streets. We took shelter under the many beautiful balconies and used the streets as our canvas. I was grateful for water to cool my scorched skin. When the rain stopped we ventured into the park, bugs humming and tree’s glistening, New Orleans is full of saturated colour.
