I’ve tried in the past to keep a written diary but i’ve never been one with words. It used to upset me that years were flying past and I would one day forget them, moments, friends, silly little things that were nothing at the time but would be treasured in the future. My pictures are my words and these posts are my way of keeping a diary.

My bestest friend came to visit me and stayed for a few days. It was full of girly chats and nail painting, watching trash tv, baking brownies, exploring the city, coffee’s and delicious dinners. Here are a few pictures i took during her visit.

I have two fashion shoots this week, so you expect pretty pictures soon!

walking city streets and lucy’s zebra socks.

hunting through hundreds of pretty dresses for the perfect one

stopping by a mirror to take a quick portrait, a new habit of mine

eating $4 baguettes on the grass and soaking in the sunshine

lucy fell in love with these shoes and after a day of lusting over them she gave in and bought them

creating a tradition. having coffee in a quaint little place on degraves street, we did the same when i first moved to melbourne all those months ago

bustling melbourne and running for trains

the sunset craft market near my home that was sadly disappointing but interesting none the least

hungry seagulls watching us each dinner by the wharf at sunset

after throwing the remainder of dinner to the hungry sea gulls, lucy ran like a mad woman chasing them off the grass

day two and we met lauren in the city for a day of exploring

i can’t help but take pictures of vibrant blooming flowers

i had the most delicious chickpea and roast vegetable salad at a cute little cafe

playing with laurens filters for her little holga by holding them in front of my lens

sleepy moon peaking through the clouds

by night we explored the city and found ourselves amongst a group of people with boom boxes dancing, singing and laughing

we joined in the fun

buskers who had drawn a large crowd

taking lucy to my secret sea glass beach so she could pick a piece for her necklace

stopping by a swimming beach to dip our feet in the ocean, the warm weather meant that the beach was full of happy people

walking to the car to drive lucy to the airport, we don’t dwell on sad goodbyes but rather look forward to the next time we will see one another. one month and counting!
