Last night I was fortunate enough to photograph Runway 06 by Cosmopolitan for Melbourne Fashion week. I was shooting the runway as an independent photographer (not representing a publication/blog/magazine) so it was a nice change to be left to my own devices! I somehow managed to land myself backstage between all the hustle and bustle before the show.
This is my favourite place to be when shooting events- hidden backstage where all the most exciting things happen, watching every moment through my lens. I loved the styling for the runway, the girls adorned with bright red wigs and natural faces. It’s so interesting to observe the amount of work and preparation for each show, it’s got this sort of clock-work magic that fascinates me!
